June 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Lightning-Link is the World’s easiest to use antibody labeling kit. However, although the 30 seconds hands on approach is extremely easy to use there are certain criteria which must be met to successfully label an antibody.

In campaign three we learnt that the buffer formulation is critical for antibody labeling.  As there are a vast number of commercially available antibodies it can sometimes be difficult to determine if the antibody buffer formulations are compatible with the Lightning-Link kits.  Recognising such potential problems, Innova Biosciences has developed two accessory kits which will overcome such hurdles:

1. The AbSelect™ Purification Kit quickly removes contaminants which may interfere with the Lightning-Link antibody labeling reaction. It can also be used to purify antibodies from crude samples such as ascites fluid or immune serum.

2. The Antibody concentration and Clean Up Kit allows for the quick and easy concentration of antibodies and proteins. The kit can also be used to reduce the concentration of many unwanted additives often found in antibody formulations such as azide, glycine or tris.
