Faizal Sayed - Hottest talk show host in SA!

June 13, 2010 - PRLog -- The new series which is a 30 minute talk show is produced by Faizal Sayed Media and will replace “The Friday Sermon”  which the company announced this week it will discontinue due to a focus on the new show.  This announcement comes despite a successful season of “The Friday Sermon” aired on CTV and ITV internationally.

Producer and TV show Host Faizal Sayed started his television career in 2001 producing a range of productions for the SABC, ETV, ITV, CTV, Asian fusion and ICN. The idea of producing his own talk show was born years ago when he started in media.  “The idea was always there and people always pushed me in that direction as I believe in using  a platform like this for the benefit of the people” Says Faizal, the 32 year old TV presenter who rose to popularity with shows like Ramadaan at 4.  
“Faizal’s forte is panel discussions and one sees this during recordings, his ability to articulate in discussions and a natural ability to get lots of information and relax very nervous guest”, said Ahmed Mohamed, operations manager at Faizal Sayed Media.
The talk show is a 30 minute production running once a week at prime time on the regional TV station CTV on a Friday evening at 19h30.  The open format allows the show to cover important topics, review productions, authors, businesses and much more. “My idea is also to focus on hardcore matters, unfortunately for some I believe in approaching it head on, but only in this way can we look at problem areas, find solutions and educate the public on various issues.” says Faizal.
The idea is to start the show off on this level and develop the series where it will eventually be aired internationally. With more than 150 Panel discussion hosted on National and international Television by Faizal, the company felt that the time was right to produce his own show.  With the information slowly making its way onto the internet, request have been pouring in for him to feature certain items on his show. The date for airing the first episode will be released shortly.
