Contemporary Art by American Artist Jill English

June 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Enter the world of contemporary artist Jill English.  It’s easy to identify original art from Jill as texture explodes off the canvas.  In her painting “When a Man Loves a Woman,” crushed rose petals and old love notes are mixed with gesso to form the texture base of the large abstract work.  Coffee grounds are used in the whimsical abstract “Executive Perks” and over 7 pounds of sand is used in the abstract landscape, "Sunset in Tuscany."

Jill English paintings come with a unique story, as art is the expression of her colorful life.  She paints from the soul sharing images from her travels, memories, and haunting tragedies.  An eternal optimism can be found even in some of her darkest pieces.
