Torres Martinez Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Opens Doors to Public in San Jacinto

San Jacinto (June 1st 2010) – Torres Martinez Tribal T.A.N.F. (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) program is celebrating the Grand Opening of it’s tenth site on June 1st between 10:00 AM and noon at 641 N. State Street in San Jacinto.

June 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Torres Martinez Tribal T.A.N.F. provides assistance to an average of one thousand Native families throughout Riverside and Los Angeles counties and is steadily growing. The opening of the new San Jacinto site is part of a two year transitional plan to better accommodate current and new clients in areas as far as Temecula, Corona, Murrieta and Cherry Valley.
Torres Martinez Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families is a social services organization that provides assistance to Native American families with children. They offer a 5 year program with a foundation in educational incentives and work opportunities, supported by temporary financial assistance, leading to self sufficiency. Torres Martinez Tribal T.A.N.F. first opened in 2001 with 1 small office in Thermal, CA and have since grown to 9 (now 10) regional offices spanning L.A. and Riverside counties. Special focus is put on traditional values and cultural awareness as we serve the Native community with a determination to support, educate and guide clients along the path to self sufficiency.
