June 11, 2010 - PRLog -- The Peugeot 206CC, or Coupe Cabriolet, is, as first glance, a slightly perculiar looking car. It clearly has the standard 206 front end, but the back end is a little strange, and while being unique and fairly streamlined, it is not the most attractive rear end I have ever seen. There is of course a good reason for its shape...

The 206CCs main selling point is that it is both a hard-topped coupe, and a topless convertable, and without the annoyance of having a removable, ugly-looking roof. The secret is simple, the roof automatically folds itself up and is stored in the boot. Magic! The procedure takes around 30 seconds, and requires you to simply undo some fasteners and hit a button.

The second beatuiful thing about this car is the price. The only rival for this car in terms of the roof is the Mercedes SLK, which while a little more luxurious, it retails for around £35,000, while the Peugeot starts at under £16,000, and the 2.0 version is only a grand more. There is no wonder there is a 6 month waiting list for this car.

The 206CC comes in all the usual Peugeot colours, but in my opinion, it looks best in silver or electric blue. There are a number of interior colours and schemes to come from, including full leathers, part leather, and all clothe. I personally think that bright blue or red leather looks a little bit too much, but each to their own.
