Charlotte Retailers Participate in New Fundraising Initiative to Benefit Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc.

June 10, 2010 - PRLog -- CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc. has recently partnered with area businesses for its latest fundraising initiative, the “I’m Amped” Paper Icon Program.  These businesses will serve as fundraising partners to help Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc. raise funds by offering their customers the opportunity to donate by purchasing an “I’m Amped” paper icon. This fundraising program allows both the retailer and customer to donate to a great cause.

Participating retailers will offer each customer the opportunity to donate to Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc. at checkout. If the customer agrees, the donation will be added to the customer's purchase as a sale item and will be added after taxes are figured on the original purchase.   Those who donate $1 or more will have their name placed on an “I’m Amped” paper icon.  The paper icon will be placed on a designated wall in that particular business to identify those who donate as official A4AC supporters.

In addition to raising funds for cancer research this campaign will ensure that every customer at each participating fundraising partner business will hear about A4AC and will raise public awareness of A4AC's efforts to support cancer research, awareness and education.
