By: Esther Craig Baskin's original contemporary, abstract paintings are always colorful and inspiring. A US Masters Long Distance Ocean Swimmer and part-time Cabo resident, Craig regularly trains in the waters of Cabo, using the colors he sees as his inspiration. This painting, entitled "Cabo Cielo", interprets the sea-to-sky beauty of Los Cabos in a blend of vibrant blues. "Having spent so much time swimming and living in Cabo, I wanted the work to convey what I see -- the amazing blue waters of the Sea of Cortez as they appear to become one with the awesome clear blue skies," said Baskin. "Anyone who has ever visited Cabo knows how this looks. I hope my painting is accurate in its interpretation." Craig Baskin's original, contemporary abstract paitings sell in the $2,500-$15,000 range. The original painting of his work, "Port-au-Prince HOPE", was recently added to the permanent collection at the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California. The Stars & Stripes Festival was a natural draw for Baskin. "The Stars & Stripes directly benefits kids and is known as 'The Feel Good Tournament'," To learn more about Craig Baskin's paintings and his international charity work: www.craigbaskin.com To learn more about the Stars & Stripes Fishing, Golf & Music festival: www.starsandstripestournament.com End
