American Thermoplastic Company Wins Top Awards In Binding Industry Competition

June 10, 2010 - PRLog -- American Thermoplastic Company received three awards in the 2010 Binding Industries Association Product of Excellence competition, including the top awards for both multi-color screen-printing and digital printing of loose-leaf products. American Thermoplastic Company (ATC) won the Product of Excellence Award for digital printing of plastic loose-leaf products. ATC won two awards for multi-color screen printing, taking the Product of Excellence and Award of Recognition in the loose-leaf products category.
Steve Silberman, President of American Thermoplastic Company, commented: “It is quite an achievement to win the top awards for both screen-printing and digital printing. The Binding Industries Association (BIA) is a trade group made up of companies involved in manufacture, binding and finishing of graphic communication products.
For over 30 years, the Product of Excellence Award competition has been a showcase for the outstanding work of the member companies of the association. International in scope, the competition included over 5000 entries received from over a dozen nations. The panel of judges was made up of distinguished professionals from the graphic arts community from all over the world. Entries were judged on uniqueness of design, degree of difficulty and quality of materials and workmanship.
