June 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Nomi Prins, journalist and author of It Takes A Pillage: Behind the Bonuses, Bailouts and Backroom Deals from Washington to Wall Street, endorses the music video, Live My Life, a visual commentary on the Wall Street Bailout.

Quotes Ms. Prins, "In today's world where, more than ever,  the ongoing concentration of money and power in the hands of a self-selected few, relies on political and public apathy, Live My Life provides a much needed shot of timely, thought-provoking, musically forward, irreverence to the status quo."

Live My Life is the creation of Los Angeles director /choreographer Michael Cornell (Semplice Pictures) and actress turned producer Tracey Paleo (Brink Tank Productions), which was shot for the debut album of Los Angeles band Rukus Juice, headed by lead guitarist and composer Kameron White.

An irreverent yet light-handed commentary on the 2008/09 American Financial Crisis and TARP otherwise known as The Wall Street Bailout, Live My Life is a fellini-esq portrait of American Capitalism.  Live My Life is currently making its way onto the Independent Film Festival scene.

Nomi Prins is a journalist and Senior Fellow at Demos.  Her latest book is:  It Takes A Pillage: Behind the Bonuses, Bailouts and Backroom Deals from Washington to Wall Street (Wiley, September 2009).  She is the author of:  Other People’s Money:  The Corporate Mugging of America (The New Press, October 2004), a devastating exposé into corporate corruption, political collusion and Wall Street deception.  Other People’s Money was chosen as best book of 2004 by The Economist, Barron’s and The Library Journal.  Before becoming a journalist, Nomi Prins worked on Wall Street as a managing director at Goldman Sachs, and running the international analytics group at Bear Sterns in London.
