[Video] ads all episode Justin Timberlake and 2011 Audi A1 mini

June 10, 2010 - PRLog -- You may recall that Justin Timberlake was picked as the brand ambassador for Audi, and now he’s stepping up his role in the A1’s promotion. All six episodes are now available for viewing online. BMW did the exact same idea 9 years ago with their then-new Z4 roadster. They made a series of high production-quality short films starring Clive Owen, and from what I remember, the short films were a hit. I think Audi is trying the exact same thing today, hoping to stir up some interest in their A1 just as BMW did 9 years ago.

Why wouldn’t Audi create its own ads “Audi Films”? BMW did it a long time ago and they were very successful at doing so. Now Audi has a new 6-part series starting Justin Timberlake and Dania Ramirez. The first episode laid the foundation for “the next big thing” as Justin (John) is forced to “get-away” in an Audi A1 S-Line which has not been confirmed for the U.S. as of yet. Check out parts one, two and three of the action packed series below.

Well, on that episode, it seems those Justin guns is fakes and almost make him surrender but good thing he absolutely does the right way. The A1 mini-series really has some cool story and is going to wait the next episode.

Nice try Audi, it was a steep hill to climb following in the footsteps of BMW’s film series ‘The Hire’, but we’d have chosen a campaign with more of a cheeky and humorous style to it, one that ‘involved’ users and played off some of the rivalries with BMW and their Mini.
