June 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Over 2,000 disabled and disadvantaged kids treated to fun day out at Drayton Manor Theme Park

More than 2249 children from the Midlands region enjoyed a free, fun-filled day out at Drayton Manor Theme Park on Wednesday (9th June).

The annual event is organised annually by Rotary International District 1060. Drayton Manor’s founder, George Bryan OBE, helped to conceive the idea for the annual Kids Out to be held at the park.

The day enables underprivileged, disabled, and special needs children to have a great day out for free.

Colin Bryan, Managing Director, Drayton Manor Theme Park, commented: “Despite the gloomy start to the day the kids had a fantastic time, which is what the day is all about. We’ve held the Kids Out event at the park for many years now and it’s a real privilege for us to be able to do so.”
