Allegiance Title Chooses NetSuccess Interactive, Inc. To Manage First Closing for the Cure Campaign
Allegiance Title Company places promoting their Closing for the Cure campaign in the capable hands of social media specialists, NetSuccess Interactive, whose president, Lori Barber, is a breast cancer survivor and shares a passion for finding a cure.
The first annual drive runs throughout June and a portion of the escrow fee from the closing of each new purchase contract will be donated upon closing to the American Cancer Society. Allegiance Title Company hopes to help find a cure and provide vital programs and support to cancer victims and their families. They are trusting NetSuccess Interactive, Inc. to help them meet their contribution goal of $10,000.
Allegiance Title Company has six participating branches located throughout North Texas. Allegiance Title Company’s president and CEO, Dawn Moore, wanted to use the power and reach of social media to get the word out to her network of customers and agents. “The reasons we chose NetSuccess as our partner in this campaign are two-fold. First, they have a stellar reputation for creating and managing successful social media campaigns, which is crucial if we are to meet our donation goal. Second, Lori Barber is a breast cancer survivor and has first-hand experience with the impact the disease has on lives,” explains Moore.
Moore has a personal stake in the campaign. She lost her best friend from high school, Debbie, to breast cancer. “Debbie was brave and battled cancer for over a decade. Creating our Closing for the Cure campaign is the least I can do to honor Debbie and others who are currently living with and battling the disease,” states Moore.
There was an estimated 184,450 diagnosed cases of breast cancer in 2008 and Barber was one of them. Approaching her 2-year follow-up appointment, she is cancer-free today, but vividly recalls the experience and treatments. “I wasn’t even 40-years-old yet when I discovered I had breast cancer. The news is shocking and devastating to anyone, but especially to those who feel, like I did, that cancer is such a remote possibility in their thirties,” explains Barber.
