NORTH WALES, PA (June 2010) – This summer and fall the Montgomery Mall will welcome a total of eight new stores. Shoppers will have a wide range of new stores to frequent and special offerings to enjoy including Weight Watchers, Crazy 8, Atlantic Book Store, China Max, Subway, Body Central and AT&T. The renovated JCPenney store will open a Sephora inside.

JCPenney is remodeling its Montgomery Mall location and investing $4.6 million into its 158,000-square-foot store. Upon renovation completion in July, JCPenney will introduce a 1,500-square-foot, full-service Sephora beauty boutique that will be located prominently in the center of the store. The store will present some of the most desired brands in makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance, and accessory products, and will be staffed by a team of specially trained beauty consultants. The remodeling will also include wider aisles, improved lighting and new signs and graphics to make it easier to navigate the store and locate brands from the hottest design and style experts. Other improvements include updated fine jewelry and shoe departments, new carpet and tile, improvements to fitting rooms and restrooms and more.  

Other mall stores opening in late summer will include Weight Watchers, Crazy 8, Atlantic Book Store and China Max. Subway and Body Central stores are set to open in the fall.

Service-based stores, Weight Watchers and AT&T, will be added to the mall’s diverse offerings. Weight Watchers will open its 3,649-square-foot store on the Upper Level near Sears and AT&T will fill 1,225-square-feet and be located on the mall’s Upper Level near Macy's.

Fashion-focused stores, Crazy 8 and Body Central, will bring new clothing retail options to Montgomery Mall’s shoppers. Crazy 8, a subsidiary of Gymboree, offers fashionable outfits at a great value for girls and boys sizes 0 to 14. The store, a 2,250-square-foot location, will call the mall’s Upper Level near Macy's its home. Body Central is an exciting juniors clothing and accessories store that sells new fashion trends and basic favorites at value prices. The store carries quality sportswear, dresses, outerwear, accessories, and shoes that feature name brands and its own creative designs. The 4,600-square-foot store will be located on the mall’s Lower Level near Dicks Sporting Goods.

Atlantic Book Store, headquartered in Conshohocken, Pa., provides the best selection of books, in convenient locations, at great prices, with customer service that is second to none. The new 7,000-square-foot store will be located on the mall’s Upper Level near Macy’s.

China Max, a fast food Chinese restaurant, and Subway, a healthy-option sub shop, will join the mall’s food court vendors this year. The China Max eatery will fill a space of 600-square-feet and Subway will occupy 550-square-feet of the mall’s food court housing.
