People Can Give Blood Online with New Web Site

Looking for a way to reach more people in its mission to overcome and reverse blood supply shortages in the U.S., the Give Life Foundation asked Baltimore-based MOS Creative to help the organization create an online information and donation resource.

June 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Baltimore, MD.— With the help of MOS Creative, the Give Life Foundation, a non-profit organization that surfaced to confront the chronic need for blood in the U.S. and to encourage people to make donations that could save lives, is launching its first full-scale Web site this spring.

Requesting a polished and professional Web presence, Give Life asked MOS for a new site to act as the foundation’s main tool for increasing public awareness and collecting donations. “It had to be friendly, warm and fit Give Life’s image,” said MOS designer, Dorothy Phillips. “We designed the site while keeping in mind that it is an informative resource, a persuasive sales pitch, and user-friendly donation tool, all at the same time.”

MOS was excited to work with another non-profit that is making major strides in benefitting the community. As a marked improvement over Give Life’s old, template-based page, people will be able to make monetary donations online, organize their own fundraising programs through the new Web site, and recruit more supporters by joining the Give Life host committee. It will also provide news and calendar updates on upcoming donation and fundraiser events.
