Debra Antney CEO, Mizay Entertainment joins The Reid Brothers and The Simmons Sisters who are not just following the footsteps but the DNA patterns of their fathers.



Taking her place amongst music royalty for one of the most awaited entertainment stages this summer is New Voices Tour judge, Debra Antney, CEO - Mizay Entertainment. Gravitating immediately toward the invitation to become a judge on the New Voices Tour Debra joins music icon Rev Run (Rev Run of Run DMC and Run’s House) and Island Def Jam Chairman Antonio “LA” Reid along with many of the entertainment industry “heavy-hitters” and the music industry’s “most wanted”, to include her son Waka Flocka Flame and Def Jam’s Hip-Hop Icon Rick Ross.   It didn’t take long for Debra to agree to lend her platinum ears to this tour committed to finding undiscovered talent in the United States.  Finding and creating talent is what Debra enjoys most and Antonio “LA” Reid stands in agreement, “The most gratifying part of my life in music has always been the search for new talent, the discovery of an artist whose music changes the culture, brings it forward…”  This task is nothing new for Debra and one that she has proven she can handle as the country melodically chants “O Lets Do It”.  Debra has easily silenced her critiques as each artist under the Mizay Entertainment umbrella continues to experience hit-after-hit!  As its current artist roster reaches 180 degrees with the debut of both Muffy and Suga Shane – just to name a few;  staying true to its motto of, “changing the game,” Mizay continues to launch the careers of artists in all genres of music.

Debra Antney is honored, thrilled and excited to judge the New Voices Tour and she’s not alone. Rev Run explains “Opening the doors for new talent has always been an important role that I take very seriously.  I understand that the songs of one generation are the stepping stones of the next generation.  This competition will be tough, as it should be.  I am very excited to be judging,” It’s a movement all about music; it’s about a legacy committed to change, it’s about new voices. Their hope is to open doors for new artists that “just need a break”, on board to offer just that break to as many contestants as he personally selects is Pat Charles – Casting Director, Wild-Out Wednesday which is synonymous with breaking talent. Winners of New Voices receive recording budgets, private showcase with record executives, celebrity make-over, and much more. This competition will be fierce…Someone will be famous!  Winners will be selected in the categories of Hip Hop/Spoken Word, R&B, and Pop to compete in the New Voices 2010 Finale!
