FREE Health Screenings in the San Fernando Valley!

   TARZANA, CA – On Sunday, June 27th, the Providence Tarzana Medical Center and the San Fernando Valley Jaycees will join forces to provide free health screenings on the Providence Tarzana campus.
   The screenings will include: an initial check up, blood sugar analysis, cholesterol testing, stroke analysis, bone density testing, body fat analysis, and dental and orthodontic examinations. The screenings and examinations will be conducted by licensed medical practitioners, who will be volunteering their time and service.  In addition to screenings, health professionals will be on hand to answer questions and provide information. Women can learn the key techniques of conducting a self breast exam, as well as important information regarding breast feeding.
   Any, and all, individuals interested in receiving a free medical check-up are invited to participate. No identification will be required, and no reservations are needed. The screenings will run from 10am to 4pm. Free parking on the Providence Tarzana campus will be provided.
   The San Fernando Valley Jaycees would like to thank Los Angeles City Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa, Los Angeles City Councilmen Dennis P. Zine, Paul Koretz, and Greig Smith, Los Angeles Unified School District Board Member Tamar Galatzan, and State Assembly Member Bob Blumenfield for their support and sponsorship of this event.
   Providence Tarzana Medical Center is located at 18321 Clark Street in Tarzana, just north of Ventura Blvd. and just east of Reseda Blvd.
