Cavaliers shopping Delonte West Mo Williams confident in resigning LeBron

June 7, 2010 - PRLog -- After Danny Ferry being let go, one had to figure something like this was soon to come.  New GM Chris Grant is putting out feelers on starting PG Mo Williams and beleaguered backup PG Delonte West.  With Williams, given the pathetic postseason performance he has put forth the last two seasons it is no surprise he is being dangled to gauge his apparent market value.  With Delonte West's legal problems, and the rumor of him having relations with LeBron James' mother it comes as no surprise that he is being put out there.

According to owner Dan Gilbert the team is confident in resigning LeBron, as they believe they have the upper hand.

With half the league or more gearing for the upcoming free agency period I don't see anyone giving anything for Delonte West.  With his contractual situation being the way it is, I see the Cavs hands being forced with him.  While West is a good backup combbo guard off the bench, I don't think any of the teams that have been bracing for cap space view him as valuable enough to use some of this cap space on.
