05.30.2010 – Houston, Texas- Supple Skin Boutique supports the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America in a silent auction event to be held in the eclectic Houston Rice Village at 2368 Rice Blvd Ste #A, Houston, TX 77005 from 7:30pm- 9:30pm.

Shoppers and philanthropic Houstonians are invited to a “bohemian market like” experience starting in a tent located outside of the boutique.  A variety of vendors will be available to offer a complete shopping experience including clothing, food, drinks and other trinkets.

One unique aspect of the event is the participation of local village shops through donated auction items. Auction items range from hair styling by the trendy LOT 8 Boutique to personal fitness training by the Village Fitness.  Cultural items have been donated by the British Isles and White Buffalo shops (For a complete list of participating vendors go to www.SSBMag.com).

“Giving is part of our skin care philosophy.   It is part of what we call ‘Mental Detox’, in which we encourage people to give and stimulate a state of peace through kindness.  We believe that this helps release toxins and tension that can contribute to premature signs of aging,” said founder and co-owner Nelia Mazula.

Supple Skin Boutique also supports Engineers Without Border and Society of Women Engineers.
