By: Corinne Logan “We keep getting calls and emails from people desperately wanting that hands-on time” says farmer Scott. “People want to get back and have a little experience of what it used to be like. We‘re showing them our morning on a small, local farm” Not that the Logan’s don’t use modern conveniences on their farm. They laugh and say they do have running water and a small tractor to help with the chores. Corinne Logan adds in, “Folks come out here and you can almost see the stress melt away. They smile and talk with people they’ve never met before and share with each other. It’s really encouraging for us.” The monthly farm tour is only offered during the summer and early fall months and reservations are required due to parking limitations.
