“After 18 days in the desert,” said Stepanski, “a teddy bear companion becomes very talkative and is much more fun to take pictures of than awkward, arm-length shots of my own head blocking the scenery.” TBD was born on a dusty desert road with a sense of humor and a profound liking of little furry companions.
