How will you remember your elders?

Claudia J. Howell, a noted news photographer for over 25 years, has newly established a quality photography service specializing in senior, boomer and family portraits, and events. Claudia says, “I love preserving memories and family history.”

June 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Claudia has won numerous photography awards over the years and worked as a photojournalist and photo editor for the highly acclaimed Oregonian newspaper. She has used those talents and skills to establish a unique approach to photography with focus on seniors, boomers and their families. “I approach photography as a partnership with the client, coaxing out the elusive light within,” she says.

Claudia has recently worked with local groups like the Milwaukie Senior Center and Elders in Action, and at civic events of interest to seniors and boomers.  She says, “I am ready to expand my civic events marketing and get the word out to chambers, realtors, neighborhood groups and community groups like Kiwanis, Rotary and Lions groups.  I hope to enable people to get quality professional photographs at affordable prices and in comfortable settings.  I plan to offer clinics for amateur photographers and mini coffee connection talks for retirement communities and civic groups and discuss ways to retain family memories and legacies.”

I specialize in on-location photographs of seniors and boomers enjoying life - in a favorite activity, at play with grandchildren or sitting for a portrait in a comfortable setting. I love partnering with the client to coax out the elusive light within.
