We can simply send you the footage or provide you with an edited package complete with script! We deliver either via satellite or ftp – always with your deadlines in mind!

We’re ready to roll at all these European events and anywhere else you need us!

4th June / Shin Kicking Championships / Chipping Campden, England
Getting kicked in the shins is not everyone’s idea of a fun sport – but it sure makes for entertaining television! Official shin guards are forbidden, but participants stuff their trouser legs with hay to form a barrier of protection. It’s all part of the Cotswold Olimpick games which first took place almost 400 years ago!

5th June / German Snuff Champs / Dechendorf, Germany
Men dressed in lederhosen, snorting snuff into their nostrils whilst swilling giant jugs of beer - the pictures promise a good chuckle! Contestants are awarded points for the amount snuffed in 60 seconds as well as precision...before they clean out their nasal passages in the nose-washrooms! Get in touch now to arrange footage delivery!

8th – 13th June / Berlin International Aerospace Expo / Germany
1,100 exhibitors from around 40 countries are expected at Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport to promote all things aerospace! Aircraft manufacturers debut their newest creations (including the Airbus A400 M military transporter). The public gawk heavenwards at impressive aircraft displays, meanwhile experts discuss topics like ‘Greener Skies Ahead’.

6th June – 29th August / Sandsation / Berlin, Germany
If you think sand-sculptures are just for children…images from SANDSATION will prove you wrong! A giant sand-pit is being prepared in the middle of Berlin…the sand is first compacted into a form which can be sculpted like soft stone, ready for sculptors from around the globe to claim their patch and begin carving their sand-masterpieces.

7th – 8th June / Eurogroup meeting and EcoFin council / Luxembourg
Stability of the Euro – the big worry weighing on the minds of Eurogroup ministers – and one they can’t ignore! IMF Director Michael Deppler will deliver an assessment of the Euro area’s economy before publishing the IMFs concluding statement on policies. A press conference will follow the meeting.

9th June / Dutch Elections / The Netherlands
The Dutch are gearing up to cast their votes. The Freedom Party are campaigning hard, determined to ban new mosques in the Netherlands…the opposition Labor Party are riding a wave of newfound popularity with Amsterdam’s former mayor Job Cohen as the new leader…and meanwhile the ruling Christian Democrats are standing on shaky ground.

12th June / World Toe Wrestling Championship / Derbyshire, England
This may sound gross, but be assured, contestants’ feet are checked for cleanliness and health before they interlock toes – participants with evidence of fungal infections are forbidden to compete! The promoters may have failed to get toe wrestling into the Olympics, but the world champs will always have a home in Derbyshire.

12th June / Bed Racing / Knaresborough, England
Another excuse for Brits to don crazy costumes and lark around? Or a serious competition involving fitness, strength and engineering skills? Bed racing is both! Teams of 6 runners push a bed on wheels while one passenger lies back and enjoys the ride – not the most comfortable ride though…the course includes uphill and downhill stretches, plus a river crossing!

June 13th / Belgian National Election / Belgium
A row between the Dutch-speaking and Francophone communities…withdrawn support from a coalition partner…resignation of Prime Minister Yves Leterme…the result? A snap election for Belgium! Political leaders are hoping for a clear-cut result, as Belgium prepares to take over EU presidency – lets hope they know by then who the PM is!

19th June / World Nettle-Eating Champs / Marshwood, England
What began as an argument between two farmers about who had the longest nettles in the land, has morphed into a contest centred on eating the giant stinging weeds! Each year, competitors flock to the Bottle Inn to take up the nettle eating challenge. The taste is foul, the sensation excruciating, yet the possibility of a world championship title (no matter how unglamorous) spurs them on!

19th June / Royal Wedding / Stockholm, Sweden
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is about to marry her fiancé Daniel Westling before a nation of adoring fans tuned in via live television broadcast. Let's hope Victoria’s Fitness club owner turned Prince makes the adjustment to living private life in public - because the world is eager for footage of royals parading around in wedding attire!

20th June / Polish Presidential Elections / Poland
After the Polish President Lech Kaczynski tragically died in a plane crash in April, Bronislaw Komorowski was thrust into the temporary leadership role. According to polls, he now stands a good chance of securing the presidential post. If none of the candidates gain over 50% of the vote, the two frontrunners will compete in a second round on July 4th.

26th and 27th June / Swamp Soccer / Strachur, Scotland
For those who find regular soccer too tame...add knee-deep mud and suddenly it's a whole new ball-game...Swamp Soccer! Competitors may not have the skills of FIFA would cup athletes but they can definitely match the entertainment factor! Our cameras will be rolling (hopefully not in the dirt)...so get in touch for footage.

27th June / World Egg Throwing Championship / Nantwich, England
Eggs…not just for children’s birthday party games…but the crucial ingredient for yet another wacky world championship sport. As part of Swaton Vintage Day, eggs are hurled through the air both by hand and catapult…while those not afraid of getting yolky attempt to play catch! Other egg-related side events include cracking eggs on foreheads.

26th June / World Worm Charming Champs / Nantwich, England
Once a necessary survival skill, Worm Charming has little use in modern western society – except for once a year in the small village of Willaston! Hundreds of worms squeeze their way to the surface, following the tremors of twanging garden forks. Will the record set in 1980 of 511 worms in a 3 yard square plot be beaten this year?

3rd July / Wife Carrying World Championships / Sonkajärvi / Finland
Not the most 'politically correct' sport in the world but great entertainment none the less. Wife-carrying is said to have its roots in the local history of Sonkajärvi…and it’s in this obscure Finnish district that the World Champs have been held for the past 14 years. The winning couple takes home the equivalent of the wife’s weight in beer.

3rd – 25th July / Tour de France / Netherlands and France
The world’s top cyclists are gearing up for the race of all races – setting their sights on that shining yellow jersey! Beginning in Rotterdam and ending at Paris’ famous Champs-Élysées, the 20 stages of this course cover a whopping 3600km - including 3 summit finishes requiring thighs of steel!
