“We bring all of the specialties that care for patients with peripheral artery disease together to find new ways to treat this common and lethal disease,” said Course Director Craig M. Walker, MD. “It is important to globally assess and provide the best patient care from the very beginning. A high percentage of patients do not need amputation, rather only some type of medical management and wound care.”

Multiple concurrent sessions offer dedicated learning opportunities for each specialty. These include: Family Physician Update, Cath Lab & Nurse Symposium, Neuropathy and its Complications, Wound Care Intensive for Nurses & Specialists, Medical Therapies for PAD and CLI and VA Diabetic Foot Symposium.
