New Cardiovascular Horizons Receives CME, CPME Accreditation
Attendees can earn CME and CPME credits at New Cardiovascular Horizons conference, June 2 - 5, in New Orleans.
CIS has designated NCVH 2010 for a maximum of 37.13 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. CIS is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
NCVH 2010 has also been approved to offer 37.13 CPME continuing education contact hours. CIS is also approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) as a sponsor of continuing education in podiatric medicine.
NCVH focuses on the entire team involved in all aspects of cardiovascular interventions including cardiologists, primary care physicians, cath lab technologists, podiatrists, nurses, physical therapists and wound care specialists.
“We bring all of the specialties that care for patients with peripheral artery disease together to find new ways to treat this common and lethal disease,” said Course Director Craig M. Walker, MD. “It is important to globally assess and provide the best patient care from the very beginning. A high percentage of patients do not need amputation, rather only some type of medical management and wound care.”
Multiple concurrent sessions offer dedicated learning opportunities for each specialty. These include: Family Physician Update, Cath Lab & Nurse Symposium, Neuropathy and its Complications, Wound Care Intensive for Nurses & Specialists, Medical Therapies for PAD and CLI and VA Diabetic Foot Symposium.
