PRESS RELEASE

Huge Car and Motorcycle Show to debut at Road Atlanta during the National Auto Sport Association races meet over Father’s Day weekend this year; June 18 thru 20, 2010!  Sponsored by the free car show calendar site www.southeastwheelsevents.com, the show is a celebration of the automobile, the motorcycle and Fathers throughout the South.  Miguel Caparros, one of the founders of the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) stated, “The track time is already pretty much booked for the racers who want to come for our events, so we have all the beautiful acreage left over for car and motorcycle enthusiasts to show their creations and collections.  It is a natural fit!” He added that spectators are welcome all weekend for all the activities, including the Kids Fun Center, for one low flat fee of $15 which includes free camping! That includes the car show, the bike show and the races all weekend!  “We have priced to right to make it easy for families to get out as a gift and celebration for Father’s Day”, added Mike Thies, one of the organizers.
Entrants will be charged $35 for cars and $20 for motorcycles for the whole three days, which also allows for the free camping.  Other activities through the weekend include a concert on Saturday and a “Sound Off” on Sunday, along with other surprise events.  More details are available at http://www.southeastwheelsevents.com/events/huge-car-bike... or call Mike Thies at 770-883-0160 mike@southeastwheelsevents.com or Miguel Caparros at 678-409-1668 racefst@yahoo.com.

About Road Atlanta
Road Atlanta was carved out of the red Georgia clay on a 750 acre Hall County plot of land in 1969. What was once a farmer’s field is now a world class motorsports facility, rich in history and tradition? For more than 40 years, Road Atlanta has been a destination location for top tier sports car and motorcycle racing, providing competitors and fans with heart pounding excitement, unforgettable experiences and life-long memories. Road Atlanta has set up a site to look back on the years of excitement, thrills and great fun at http://www.roadatlanta.com/nws_10-40th-ann.lasso.

Car shows and motorcycle shows have grown significantly in recent years, likely due to the popularity of Pebble Beach and Amelia Island high end Concours de’Elegance and cable Speed Channel shows!  Many of the shows cropping up are smaller venues, often free to spectators, to raise fund for not-for-profits, local churches and school activities.  But many are large gatherings of remarkable vehicles that occur regularly like the Cars And Coffee group in  Irvine, CA and Caffeine and Octane in Alpharetta, GA.  Big or small, they are a place to view remarkable vehicles and enjoy the history and beauty of the automobile. Even the High Museum in Atlanta has joined in with a one-of-a-kind show of eighteen of the world’s most remarkable and beautiful vehicles. http://www.high.org/main.taf?p=3,1,1,17,1 Never to be viewed in that structure ever again, the show at the High has been extended to June 27, 2010!
