PHE Ink and Nia Publishing Sever Ties

May 28, 2010 - PRLog -- HOUSTON, Texas - Just shy of completing a one-year run of collaborative literary events and projects, PHE Ink Writing Solutions Firm has submitted a 30-day notice to dissolve its association and working relationship with Nia Publishing. With the two companies parting ways, the earliest Nia Publishing could release its joint projects with PHE Ink or its catalog of books would be July 1, 2010 as a sole entity, including its first novel and newly released anthology, Coffee Confessions.

The separation stems from a breach of contract in which the parent company, PHE Ink, reserved the exclusive right of final edit and approval of Coffee Confessions before printing and releasing to retailers nationwide. According to industry sources, PHE Ink allowed Coffee Confessions to be featured at the White Party held in Houston in conjunction with Nia Promotions with the understanding that certain challenges needed to be addressed immediately before its official release. The anthology was released the following week without the consent of PHE Ink. Nia Publishing, the subsidiary of PHE Ink, released the book without crediting its parent company or following protocol to have the ISBN activated.

Representatives of PHE Ink would like to offer their sincerest apologies to the authors involved with the anthology project and encourage them to use the existing copies of Coffee Confessions in circulation as a marketing tool to showcase their phenomenal stories and writing talent.
