Israeli Krav Maga Comes to Tucson

May 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Mr. Hillis has struck a deal with SWAT Fitness; to bring residents of Tucson Krav Maga as taught to YAMAM, Duvdevan and elite security personnel throughout Israel. SWAT Fitness is already famous in their own right for training everyone from Civilians to Special Forces Units in functional fitness for a better life.

Mr. Hillis is a Certified Phase Two Instructor (1 of only 3 in the world) with Israeli Krav International (IKI). The methods of self defense taught by IKI are employed by Hostage Rescue Units (YAMAM) due to the fact that no other method takes ease of learning and using, collateral damage, heavy clothing, mental exhaustion, physical fatigue and such factors into consideration.  It is important that a technique not only keep one safe from abduction, but also that it protect innocent bystanders; such as family members, children, law enforcement partners, other Tactical Team members, etc.  This method teaches easy to learn and easy to remember skills based on your instinctive reactions to common threats.  Your body already knows EVERY MOVE, you will simply be taught how and when to use what you already know to safely escape harm's way. Not to mention, it really is a safe and easy way to get into great shape.
