Green baby companies join forces with top blogger to promote eco-friendly products at 2010 conference in New York City

May 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Two green-minded companies, Hygeia™ Breastpumps and FuzziBunz® cloth diapers, today announced a joint sponsorship of green parenting blogger, Gina Crosley-Corcoran, also known as The Feminist Breeder (http://thefeministbreeder.com/), for the BlogHer 2010 conference.

The complementary companies have similar goals – to provide eco-conscious parents with products they can feel good about – and Crosley-Corcoran blogs about green parenting, breastfeeding, cloth diapering and natural birth, so the three-way partnership is a natural fit all around.  Crosley-Corcoran will work with FuzziBunz and Hygeia to raise awareness of their cloth diapers and breast pumps among the bloggers attending the conference.

“I honestly could not be more thrilled with the two brands I get to represent at the conference.  I feel so lucky to have partnered with products that I’d help sell even without their sponsorship,” says Crosley-Corcoran.

Tereson Dupuy, Founder of FuzziBunz agrees. “This is the beginning of a fantastic partnership.  We all stand for similar ideals and joining forces only helps to increase our impact,” she said.

Both Hygeia and FuzziBunz are committed to protecting the environment and providing options to parents who want to raise their babies green.  Leading cloth diaper manufacturer, FuzziBunz, provides a sustainable solution to disposable diapers.  The patented reusable FuzziBunz pocket-style cloth diapers keep baby dry and create zero waste.  The One-Size diapers are the most adjustable cloth diapers on the market and will fit babies from birth through potty training

Hygeia created fully recyclable double electric breastpumps that can be re-used, re-sold or returned to Hygeia for recycling.  All Hygeia hospital and personal use pumps have received FDA clearance to be used by multiple users when she uses her own Personal Accessory Set (PAS).  All pump parts that come in contact with breast milk are BPA/DEHP-free and the Hygeia EnJoye ™LBI breastpump offers an optional rechargeable lithium ion battery.

“Moms today are concerned about the environment, especially when it comes to raising their babies,” said Craig Townsend, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Hygeia.  “Bringing two eco-conscious companies together with The Feminist Breeder is a great opportunity to build awareness of the many green parenting options available.”

BlogHer '10 will take place August 6-7, 2010 in New York, NY, bringing bloggers from every corner of the blogosphere together for hands-on learning, rich discussions, and opportunities to network with their fellow bloggers & meet the brands that support them.

About FuzziBunz®
The patented FuzziBunz® pocket diapers are a convenient and sustainable diapering solution for today’s busy parents.  The reusable diapers ensure no leaks, no rash and no waste. FuzziBunz® diapers include three layers: 1) a waterproof outer barrier to keep wetness contained, 2) a soft microfleece inner layer that touches a baby’s skin and pulls away moisture, and 3) a unique, pocket-style opening that enables a parent to customize the absorbency using super absorbent micro-terrycloth pads.

Stay-at-home-mom, Tereson Dupuy, invented FuzziBunz® in January 1999 in response to her infant son’s chronic diaper rash and her overall dissatisfaction with all available diapers.  Tereson stitched the first FuzziBunz® in her home and a short time later, the FuzziBunz® diapering movement was born.  For more information about FuzziBunz® cloth diapers and accessories and to find a list of retailers, please visit www.fuzzibunz.com.
