Chef Elle Goes Bananas For Paula Deen and Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese

May 27, 2010 - PRLog -- The month of May has something for everybody. Early on, there's Cinco de Mayo, graduations and Memphis In May. This month-long event includes a three day music jam fest and the world famous International Barbecue Contest.

People come from all parts of the world to compete. And though the champ has already been crowned, the debate lives on. Memphis versus Carolina. Wet or Dry. And don't forget that good old Texas brisket.

Never been one to pick a fight, Chef Elle Green is steering clear of the barbecue war. However, she headed to Philly (that is the Real Women of Philadelphia Contest) with bananas in hand to create a delicious dessert recipe.

And with the wedding season just around the corner, the Banana Foster Bombes would be great served at a bridal luncheon. She borrowed from the Brennan family and something old is now new.
