May 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Interested in gaining a TEFL qualification in your gap year but not sure which one to go for?

Confused by the variety of one and two day courses that don’t seem to be accredited by a recognised examining body?

Don’t want to spend thousands of pounds completing an intensive teaching course in England?

Frontier has come up with the answer!

Why not travel to an exciting and exotic location where you will be able to use your new TEFL skills, learnt over an intensive training weekend, to benefit local communities – and at the end of this gain a TEFL qualification fully accredited by one of the UK’s leading examining bodies!

Frontier is working with Edexcel to offer an exciting new TEFL programme – The BTEC Advanced Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. This is a customised course designed by Frontier, for Frontier, and is accredited by Edexcel as a level 3 qualification.

Volunteers taking part on Frontier’s teaching projects for 4 weeks or more are able to sign up for this qualification which combines self-study, an intensive training weekend and practical work experience in a foreign country. On completion of the placement, volunteers submit a portfolio which is assessed at our London Head office, and verified by Edexcel.
