May 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Trademarkia - the biggest success story of 2009's TechCrunch 50 awards is making a 2010 appearance at the Annual INTA Conference & TechCrunch Disrupt 2010.

Trademarkia.com launched on September 14, 2009 at the TechCrunch50 event.   The website was not on the main stage at TechCrunch50, it was in the Demo Pit.   Trademarkia.com made rounds to all the major Silicon Valley venture capitalists in the Summer of 2009.   Nobody wanted to invest in us.  As such, we two founders bootstrapped the venture entirely ourselves.  

Through hard work and a real business model, Trademarkia.com has become the biggest success story of TechCrunch50 2009 in terms of traffic, revenue, and market penetration.  Trademarkia today stands as an Alexa 21,000 site.  With over 2.1 million page views per month from 500,000 unique visitors, many VCs now want to invest in us, but we no longer require funding.  We are profitable.

Trademarkia is a Web 2.0 visual search engine for Trademarks.  Our search engine of more than 6,000,000 trademarked logos, names, and slogans is the largest on the Internet.  Trademarkia is the only place on the Web to find historical brand information such as the first Pepsi logo, the first Coca Cola logo, and the first Ronald McDonald Logo.   For this, Trademarkia has been mentioned in more than 180 Wikipedia pages.

Also, Trademarkia is often the first place in the web to learn about product releases before they are announced.  For example, the recent Facebook virtual currency logo, the Google Nexus One name, and more was first revealed on Trademarkia, because it indexes U.S. trademark records faster than the updates on the USPTO website.  For this, Trademarkia has been linked to in more than 2000 blogs since its launch, more than 8 times on TechCrunch, in the New York Post, and dozens of media outlets.   Trademarkia is also the largest logo search engine in the world, with unique tools to "search inside" millions of logos.

Trademarkia's first year growth rate is equally impressive.  From being unranked at launch time in September 2009, Trademarkia has become an Alexa 21,000 site in just 6 months.   Furthermore, Trademarkia has created a unique revenue model for registering new and old trademarks and is on track to finish its first year of operations with more than $7 million dollars in revenue.  Our team has grown from us two initial founders, to a team of 10 strong employees.
