Big Brother is Watching You but Maybe He Needs Specs!

May 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Local resident car damaged in full view of Westwood Cross security cameras and not even Big Brother saw a thing.
Whilst visiting the Vue cinema on Sunday night (23rd May 2010), local Westgate resident Samantha Secomb’s, car was damaged. The car was parked 10 yards from one of the many security cameras permanently installed at Westwood Cross and the security officers were immediately informed, but after examining the camera footage they were still unable to help.
“We went to the late showing of a film” reports Samantha “ the car park was quiet when we arrived and all but abandoned when we came out of the cinema, I find it incredible that the cameras picked up nothing”
It is bad news for Samantha, but I guess it will please the local criminal fraternity to know that all those cameras may appear impressive, but they turn out to be quite useless for detecting crime.
