Elumin Healthcare Solutions Adds Four Industry Veterans, Nearly a Century of Knowlege and Expertise

Joining the firm is Ron Forrest as Vice President Southeast and South Central, Jeff Hastings, Vice President Mid-Atlantic, Wendy Lee, Vice President Northeast, and Cardelia Reid, Vice President North Central. These industry veterans possess nearly a century worth of experience and expertise in healthcare and healthcare IT.

Ron Forrest possesses over 25 years’ worth experience and expertise in healthcare IT.  During the course of this time, he has held key VP and Director Positions in sales and consulting with some of the leading healthcare IT companies such as GE, HP, Johnson & Johnson, and McKesson. Throughout this tenure, Ron spent a significant amount of time working with clients to achieve great results in both the revenue cycle and clinical arenas.  As an outcome of his phenomenal work, leaders of some the leading healthcare provider organizations consider him a trusted advisor and friend. Ron has been a member various healthcare organizations such as HFMA and HIMSS.

Jeff Hastings has a unique perspective of healthcare IT with over 23 years of experience, having had the opportunity to have been the CIO for Lenoir Memorial Hospital and Richmond Memorial Hospital and then serving in key leadership positions for two leading healthcare IT vendors, TeleHealth Services and  Patient Care Technology System. Jeff knows what it takes to deliver large scale healthcare IT projects from the clients’ perspective and the vendors’ point of view giving him a perspective and point of reference few can equal.

Wendy Lee has over 24 years of healthcare experience working in senior leadership positions and consulting for healthcare organizations such as Partners Healthcare and Massachusetts General Hospital, and with managed care organizations including Harvard Community Health Plan and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Wendy holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and Hospital Administration from Yale and has been involved in strategic business planning, IT development, operations management, cost analysis and organizational transformation throughout her career.  Wendy has a passion and understanding of healthcare that gives her a unique perspective and ability to understand the dynamics at play into today’s healthcare environment and those challenges it faces with implementing IT initiatives.

Cardelia Reid brings over 10 years of healthcare IT and clinical experience.  During her tenure in healthcare IT she has held consultative leadership roles at both McKesson and Informatics Corporation of America.  She is a Registered Nurse with a MSN from Case Western Reserve University and has held clinical and clinical IT leadership roles at WellStar Health System and BlueCross BlueShield of Georgia.  She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Emory University.  As a clinician, Cardelia possess the keen understanding of how to apply IT to clinical processes to achieve the greatest benefits and outcome. Her understanding of the business side of healthcare intertwined with her clinical expertise gives her the perspective to understand how each piece comes together to achieve both business and clinical goals for customers.
