Home Instead Senior Care Celebrates Tenth Anniversary In New Haven, Litchfield & Fairfield Counties
The Home Instead Senior Care franchise in Trumbull and Sandy Hook, CT, recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary. Co-owners, Sharon and Robert Massafra of Fairfield, CT, were celebrated at the Home Instead Senior Care Convention in Omaha, NE.

“Owning this franchise for the past ten years,” started Massafra, “has been one of the most rewarding business experiences of my life.” Previously, Massafra worked in various management positions with Park City Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Waterbury and Danbury Hospitals in Connecticut.
As owner of a Home Instead Senior Care franchise, Massafra employs professional administrative staff members as well as CAREGivers who assist older adults with everyday, non-medical tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry and light housekeeping, escort for shopping and errands, and respite care. Massafra’s team of CAREGivers serve seniors and their families in 33 towns throughout northern Fairfield, southern Litchfield and northwest New Haven counties.
In the fall of 2009, Massafra brought her husband, Robert, into her franchise ownership in the position of vice president. She commented, “Bob currently oversees quality assurance, Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders and chore services.”
