She views the past as a more romantic time and can picture herself as the heroine in a historical romance. The Victorian Era appeals to her as part of a romantic past when women always wore long skirts, hats, and gloves. The present and what’s “in” now are important to her. She is influenced by celebrity fashion, fashion magazines, and fashion designers. Her friends often asking her where she bought an item of clothing, an accessory or who has her hair done and they consider her to be in the know when it comes to fashion. She knows how to have fun with fashion, and she is a true “fashionista.”
