May 21, 2010 - PRLog -- With the passage of the new Arizona immigration law, the battle lines have been drawn. There’s been an immediate backlash within the Hispanic and Black community. Liberals vs. conservatives, Republicans vs. Democrats. According to author/educator Corey Washington, this is an issue that has long been a problem, but few people have had the courage to be truthfully honest about illegal immigration. He says the immigration debate has the potential to drastically change the landscape of America; families will be broken up and racial profiling of people of color will increase. Does America have the stomach for this? This guest will explore all angles and will confront your listeners on the 800 pound gorilla in the room: Racism/Stereotypes! Washington is the author of “Plain Talk” Vol. 1 (Racism and Stereotypes) and Vol. 2 (Digging a Little Deeper).
