The Go-Go's To Perform Live on Good Morning America

May 21, 2010 - PRLog -- As The Go-Go’s ready for this summer’s farewell concert tour, details are announced today for the legendary band’s final television appearance, live on Good Morning America on July 16, 2010.

The concert is free, open to the public, and will take place in New York City at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield. Entrance for the audience will be at 72nd Street and 5th Avenue and begins at 6am, with the live broadcast from 7-9am. Fans displaying their devotion to the Go-Go’s will gain VIP, up-front access to the performance. Whether donning the beauty-spa towel and face-masque regalia from the Beauty and the Beat album cover or bringing fantastic home-made signs, the most-creative fans will be allowed to watch the show from the front row. Space is limited and will be available on a first-come basis.

The Go-Go’s will perform three of their chart-topping hits that have been a part of summer’s soundtrack for 30 years, including “Our Lips Are Sealed”, “We Got the Beat”, and “Vacation”.

The Go-Go’s Happily Ever After – The Farewell Tour kicks off July 7, 2010 at Lilith Fair in San Diego, includes dates in Tampa FL, Myrtle Beach SC, Portsmouth VA, Morristown NJ, New York City, Atlantic City NJ, Vienna VA, San Francisco CA, Los Angeles CA, Dallas TX, and wraps up July 27 in Austin.
