The Allyns emerged as credible authors with the launching of "Gordon Solie Something Left Behind” (hardback version) at the 2005 Tampa WrestlingReunion. The festivities included bookings with over seventy legends from the "squared circle" and led to interviews for the Allyns on Tampa's WTVT-TV and WTSP-TV along with appearances at the WTVT 50th Anniversary Banquet and the St. Petersburg Times Reading Festival.
In 2008, the Allyns made a trip to Orlando where Pamela appeared onstage for the induction of her father by Jim "JR" Ross into the 2008 WWE Hall of Fame.
