Asia’s leading one-stop venue solutions provider and Singapore’s largest convention and exhibition centre will play host to the second annual National Child Education Exhibition & Conference (NCE EXCO) from 30 May to 1 June 2010. The Exhibition will take place on the first and second day at Foyers 1 and 2 while the Conference will be held on the second and third day in the Conference Halls, all under one roof at Singapore Expo. Taking place alongside the main event on 30 May is CMA Mental Arithmetic Olympia, one of the largest child mental mathematics competitions in the region.

“Preparing Our Children to Succeed in Tomorrow’s World” is this year’s theme, focusing on the issues that children will face now and in the future. An expected 3,000 visitors will attend the Exhibition, which seeks to address pertinent issues and needs as well as arm educators and parents with the necessary skills and knowledge for children to succeed.

The Conference, in addition, will see some of the world’s most respected voices in the education sector, including former UK government education advisor Richard Gerver and leading neuroscientist Professor Allan Snyder, discussing the latest findings and trends in childhood education. Over 600 attendees are set to learn from these experts on how to equip children for success in an ever-changing world as well as the latest discoveries in child creativity and intelligence studies. The four tracks of the Conference are Exploring and Dissecting Pedagogy; Teacher Development and Teaching Technologies; Language Mastery, Music, Sports and Character Development; and Giftedness and Children with Special Needs.

Expo a fully-equipped home to business events

The multi-functionality of Expo’s Halls has allowed numerous business events to expand effortlessly. Not only can Expo accommodate large numbers of visitors, the versatile spaces available can also be efficiently configured to house a main exhibition in conjunction with a companion conference and other fringe activities (such as a Play Area for the little ones at NCE EXCO), all within a single contained venue.
