Poppy Sports Launches - Active Gear for Active Women

Poppy Sports will offer women a one-stop shopping experience for attractive, functional athletic clothing for use in training and competition as well as apparel that appeals to an active lifestyle.  The collection will be sourced from US suppliers, specifically selected for their dedication to active women and who provide gender-specific designs of superior quality and style.  

Poppy Sports will offer clothing for: running, hiking, cycling, triathlon, swimming, yoga, skiing, general training, and lifestyle apparel.

Poppy Sports Training Camps
Women will have the opportunity to join Poppy Sports Triathlon Training Camps. Under the guidance of Boulder-based Iron(wo)man triathlete and nutritionist Teresa Rider, any member of Team Poppy will have the opportunity of training and support as well having the camaraderie of a virtual or real-life team.  Team apparel and kit bags will be part of the team package.

The annual training season will kick off with Team Poppy spring training in Boulder, Colorado.  Camps will be offered at different levels from the absolute beginner to the aspiring ironman athlete.  Camps will include not only physical conditioning and techniques, but also nutritional and preparation advice for the remainder of the year.

Melanie Mitchell, a British expatriate living in the US, founded Poppy sports to launch in 2010.  She has competed in swimming and running events as well as triathlons on both sides of the Atlantic and has always supported the premise that being active is not a chore but is a lifestyle choice and that the right clothing can help any women to make that choice!
