What:   Dori Scofield, President/Founder, Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, is announcing the grand opening of The Barkin’ Basement, a thrift store located in beautiful downtown Port Jefferson. The Barkin’ Basement will sell high-end donated items and lightly used items. Local elected officials will be on hand to issue proclamations to Ms. Scofield in honor of the grand opening and to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Directions: Long Island Expressway to Exit 64 (Rte. 112) North to Port Jefferson. Head north on Route 112. After the train tracks, Rte. 112 becomes Rte. 25A. Take Rte. 25A to the end, then make a right. Turn right on East Main Street. The Barkin’ Basement is on the right-hand side.
