Indoor Lacrosse Camp June 1 & 2 with Hall of Fame Instruction

May 18, 2010 - PRLog -- When lacrosse legend Johnny Mouradian calls you listen. As a member of the 1978 Canadian national field team that defeated USA, Canadian National Lacrosse Hall of Fame, National Lacrosse League (NLL) Hall of Fame, and 9 NLL Titles as a GM, and current GM of the 2010 Canadian National field team - Johnny Mouradian has earned great respect in the sport of lacrosse.

Johnny's vision is to share, grow and develop the game of indoor lacrosse in the United States, Canada and abroad.   True indoor lacrosse played the right way; rugged, technical, challenging, educational and fun.

Mouradian contacted Glendale Vipers head coach, and director of the Glendale Lacrosse League, Bill Casey, to ask him if he would be interested in working with Mouradian's new venture, American Indoor Lacrosse (AIL). "I get a lot of calls", said Casey. "But Johnny Mouradian is not only a Hall of Fame player, he is a remarkably successful executive. Although I've run box lacrosse programs since 2005", continued Casey, "Mouradian brings us the expertise, coaching certification, academy, and unprecedented development of indoor skills that transfers very well to the outdoor game"  

First task for Casey as AIL's new Academy Director, is a 2 day, 7 hour program June 1st and 2nd at the Arizona Sports Complex. Each 3.5 hour program includes 45 minutes of classroom instruction, 2 hours of turf time and 30 minutes of post-turf debriefing. Grades 11-12 at 8am to 11:30am, grades 9-10 at 10am to 1:30pm and grades 4-8 from 12pm to 3:30pm. Cost is $100.  Space is limited to only 25 players per session. Local coaches are also invited to participate free of charge.  

"We had our own camp planned and ready to go, as a warm up into the box lacrosse league starting June 12th", said Casey. "But frankly this one blows us out of the water!"

The American Indoor Lacrosse Academy's education and training platform shares and teaches the unique training methods of Indoor lacrosse skill development, philosophies, principles, and tactics to players, coaches, referees and parents.  The platform provides a fun opportunity to learn indoor lacrosse at all ages and across all skill levels.
