Gerdany Workshops with Maria Rypan at the Ukrainian National Museum

The Ukrainian National Museum is pleased announce a Gerdany Workshop Series with beadwork artist, designer and recognized expert Maria Rypan.

Intro to Gernady-Making:

Maria Rypan is a beadwork artist, designer, publisher of several beadwork instruction books and recognized expert focusing on the Ukrainian style. She enjoys transforming Swarovski® components into kit designs and is regularly featured in beadwork publications. Since 1995 she’s been teaching beadweaving and loomwork internationally and is a featured presenter about beadwork and folk arts in Ukraine.

Workshop participants can choose their favorite styles and Maria will tailor the session around those “gerdan” techniques.  Pre-registration for workshops is required. Space is limited.
