Study Reveals The Top 10 Most Stylish Celebrity Children

May 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Due to an increase of searches for ‘fashionable children’s clothing’, the UK’s leading discount website has commissioned research to discover who Brits think is the most stylish celebrity child, with Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri topping the poll with 68% of people agreeing.  

www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk asked 1,038 parents across the UK the multi-answer question, ‘Who do you think are the most stylish celebrity children?’ Romeo Beckham was a close second to Suri, with 61% claiming he was stylish. Madonna’s daughter Lourdes and Katie Price’s son also made the top ten.  

The top 10 most stylish celebrity children, according to the poll by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, are;

1.   Suri Cruise – 68%
2.   Romeo Beckham – 61%
3.   Maddox Jolie – 59%
4.   Lourdes (Madonna) – 54%
5.   Sean Preston Spears – 47%
6.   Junior (Katie Price) – 44%
7.   Brooklyn Beckham – 42%
8.   Booby Goody (Jade Goody) – 38%
9.   Apple Paltrow – 36%
10.   Ruby Henson (Charlotte Church) – 27%

Victoria and David Beckham’s children’s style was appreciated among those polled, with both Romeo and Brooklyn featuring in the top 10. 17% of those asked felt that the Beckham’s third child, Cruise, was one of the best dressed celebrity children.  

More than a fifth, 23%, of those asked believe that celebrities dress their sons better than they dress their daughters, with a third of people thinking famous parents dress their daughters ‘inappropriately’. However 11% admitted to imitating the styles of celebrity daughters when dressing their own child.

The research suggests that Brits think Americans have better style, with 56% saying that American parents dress their children better than British parents.

When asked ‘do you style your own children on celebrity kids?’ only 14% of the total respondents said they did. 31% of the parents asked claimed that cost was the most important factor they considered when buying their child’s clothing.

Matthew Clifton, parenting expert at MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, commented on the findings;

“Celebrity parents, such as Tom Cruise, have the right kind of money to be able to dress their children in designer clothing and I am sure every parent in the UK would dress their child in a similar fashion if they didn’t have cost to consider. I wasn’t shocked to hear that 31% of parents base their children’s clothes on cost at all, as bringing up a child is expensive business.”

He continued,
