Ormond Beach, May 14, 2010…RiverGrille kicks of the summer, Memorial Day Weekend May 28-30, with its 6th Annual Shrimp & Crab Boil, a new Oyster Bar on the Deck and Catamaran boat tours!

Bring family and friends to the Shrimp & Crab Boil and enjoy fresh shrimp, crab, and crawfish, flavorful red russet potatoes, corn and crispy hush puppies, prepared and served on the multi-level deck overlooking the Tomoka River. While you’re there, enjoy RiverGrille’s NEW Oyster Bar on the Deck, now open Wednesday – Friday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m; Saturday 12 p.m. to 9 p.m; Sunday 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., offering up the freshest raw oysters, steamed oysters, Oysters Rockefeller and specialty oysters on the outside deck!  

“We've had several weeks running with the new oyster bar and everyone loves the casual feel of having oysters out on the deck," said owner Raymond Barshay. “We have very loyal patrons, and we like to give them new experiences. I’m just glad that their responses have been so positive.”

Need another reason to celebrate?  Take a cruise on the Tomoka River on our new one hour Catamaran boat tours every Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 a.m. Captain T’s Tour and Charter Company will leave from the RiverGrille dock with room for 12 people on board to see the historic river as few have seen it. Tours will be every hour and a half until dark (on weekends only) starting Saturday, May 15.

RiverGrille’s expansive menu, including a wide array of lunch and dinner selections, are prepared with Southern, Cajun and New England inspirations. Fresh seafood, steaks, salads, pasta dishes, Jambalya, sandwiches, unique appetizers and great daily specials are just a few of the highlights. There are also lighter portions for smaller appetites and plenty of healthy choices as well.

“The RiverGrille should be a destination for residents and visitors,” Barshay said of this one-of-a-kind eatery. “I fell in love with this piece of land over a decade ago and wanted to create a place where people could enjoy the river and history of the area.
