Follow on Google News | Where do lost Children Go? One parent’s answerLosing a child during term, neo-natal care, or early life is every parent’s worst nightmare.
By: Cloudninebooks.com According to figures from the OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) Chances are we all know someone who has experienced the trauma of losing a young child. Providing comfort and relief to those families that have experienced loss is a difficult task. One couple, from Hampshire, England, that experienced the loss of one of their twins half way through term under difficult circumstances has found an unusual way to try to gain some comfort and understanding. Daddy wrote a story titled ‘Aaron’s Star’ for Aaron’s Mummy in an attempt to make sense of what happened, and explain that Aaron’s life force lives on. The book, being released July 9th 2010, is written and presented in the format of an illustrated children’s story, yet for parents that have experienced loss. The book is written by: Daddy, for Mummy. It could be written by any Daddy for any Mummy that has been through this type of trauma. ‘Aaron’s Star’ takes the parent on a journey where Aaron shares a poignant message in his song of life that he asks his Mummy to sing in her own life. The book also has space for a parent to add their child’s name and commit the book to his or her memory. The objective behind sharing the story through publication is that other parents that struggle with their loss, may find a glimmer of hope or understanding from the song of life that Aaron shares with his Mummy in ‘Aaron’s Star’.
