Michael Koenen 2010 All-Star NFL Football Kids Camp

May 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Bellingham WA – Multop Financial announces its sponsorship of The 2010 Michael Koenen All-Star Football Kids Camp, coming to Ferndale WA on June 5th, 2010.   Atlanta Falcon’s punter, Western Washington alumni and Ferndale High School graduate Michael Koenen will host a free, non-contact football camp at Ferndale High School for all kids in the 3rd to 8th grade range.  In conjunction with Multop Financial, Ferndale High School and the Boys & Girls Club of Whatcom County, Michael Koenen has created this camp as way to return the support that has been provided to him throughout his school years here in Whatcom County.   With Multop Financial coordinating the event, Ferndale High School and the Boys & Girls Club of Whatcom County will be managing the activities of the camp.  
Tyler Ryan of Multop Financial explains how the collaboration of all the organizations involved has resulted in an exciting line-up, “Michael Koenen is pulling in some other great names in football to lend a hand in the mentorship of the kids who attend; Falcons Defensive Tackle Thomas Johnson, Falcons Running Back Jerious Norwood and former Seahawk Pro Bowler Alex Bannister will all help the kids learn the fundamentals of the game with emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship.  And our Multop Financial sponsorship will provide each kid with a souvenir T-Shirt and All-Star photo as a keepsake from the event.”
Following the Kids Camp at 5pm, Michael Koenen will host an NFL vs. Whatcom County alumni basketball game at Ferndale’s gymnasium.  At half time, authentic NFL memorabilia, including autographed Michael Koenen jerseys and Falcons gear, will be raffled off for the benefit of local youth athletic programs including the Boys and Girls Club of Whatcom County.
