May 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. (4C), in partnership with the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County (ELCOC), is spreading the word regarding the Child Care Executive Partnership Program (CCEP).  Managed by the State of Florida Office of Early Learning (AWI/OEL), CCEP is a public/private partnership that matches funding for child care costs.

According to research conducted by Cornell University and referenced in Child Care & Productivity: Making the Business Case, child care breakdowns leading to employee absenteeism cost businesses $3 billion annually in the United States. Furthermore, businesses that operate a child care program can reduce turnover by 37%-60%.

The State of Florida will match a business’s investment in the program dollar for dollar. Benefits of participation include: helping businesses hire and maintain effective and reliable employees, building a strong and dependable work force, helping children enter school ready to learn, and cultivating Florida’s future work force by reducing the need for social service programs as children grow.

To discover more about the CCEP program and the related tax benefits for your company, contact Leslie Holt Pierce at 4C, 407-532-4115, for additional information.
