Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches Host Benefit Event for Relay for Life Team

The Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches hosted a benefit event at Blue Martini to raise money for their Relay for Life team to benefit the American Cancer Society.

May 13, 2010 - PRLog -- West Palm Beach – The Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches, joined by the American Cancer Society, hosted a benefit event on Wednesday, May 5 to raise money for the YPOP Relay for Life team. The event, held at Blue Martini – CityPlace, was an evening filled with networking, socializing and charity. Raffle prizes were donated by area companies and the proceeds of the ticket sales, $435.00 in total, went towards the YPOP Relay for Life team. Raffle Prizes were graciously donated by Ann Taylor - Palm Beach Gardens, Blue Martini - CityPlace, Concert Chick Productions, LLC, Dolce Vita Wines, Forte Ristorante, Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, Quarterdeck - Palm Beach Gardens, Sublime Sparkle, Superior Virtual Services, Tiffany & Co., Troy Langan - Keyes Company and Vera Bradley.
Thanks to the success of this event, the Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches have so far raised over $1,165.00 for the downtown Relay for Life event taking place on May 21 – 22 at Meyer Amphitheater. The 18 hour event extends through the night into the next morning and will include music, fundraising, and lots of fun activities. About the Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches (YPOP)
The Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches is a networking and professional development group run through the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches. The group has collected school supplies for area schools in need, participated in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program and is organizing a Relay For Life team for the 2010 downtown WPB event. Group events include monthly networking HotSpots, career seminars, and recently a business Showcase.
