Follow on Google News | New Institute for Capital Projects Industry Opens East Texas LinCP ForumInstitute for Leadership in Capital Projects (I-LinCP) hosts its First Annual Golf Tourney, and the East Texas Regional Leadership in Capital Projects (LinCP) Forum in Katy, Texas, June 9-10, 2010.
By: Carol Warkoczewski June 9 is the Golf Tourney and pre-Forum dinner and June 10 is the LinCP Forum. This is the fifth Forum of its kind, but the first one in the Houston area, and the first one organized under the auspices of the new nonprofit, membership organization, I-LinCP. Previous Forums were organized by Carol Warkoczewski of Synergy Builders. Panels, presentations, and collaborative discussions will be on: • Financial Project Planning NOW • Project Funding and Financing: Public-Private Partnerships • Green Planning - ROI Intentions vs. Reality...? Both the Golf Tourney and LinCP Forum will be held at The Club at Falcon Point, Katy, Texas. The Golf Tourney will be a four-person scramble. Partial proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Nobelity Project and their work with Architecture for Humanity in Haiti. Sponsorships are available. Dinner on June 9 is included. Leo Linbeck III will kick off the LinCP Forum with his keynote presentation on June 10. He will speak to the current economic situation, impacts of the new healthcare plan and Texas’ future in his talk, “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” Leo is the President and CEO of Aquinas Companies, LLC, the parent company of seven values-driven enterprises, from construction management to life science preventure technology development, with combined revenues in excess of $500 million.
