May 11, 2010 - PRLog -- In 1996, the author’s son was killed in a work-related accident. What followed the tragedy was five years of her trying to cope, understand, and process why her oldest son was taken from her. As a registered nurse, Judy was accustomed to caring for the elderly and offering solace to the loved ones they left behind at the end of their lives. Although a grieving process occurred, most were comforted by the fact that a long, full life had been lived. Witnessing death was something she experienced throughout her career yet she had always believed in that “somewhere else” where we went after life on Earth ended. But her son’s passing caused her to lose faith in that belief. She was terrified and questioned life after death. She lost all hope until something happened that caused a magnificent and resilient spiritual awakening: Her son brought her answers. She experienced “contact” from him and received the answers she needed in order to believe again, not from his death, but from him. This moving journal is a beautiful narration of a mother’s experience that will give comfort to anyone who has lost a loved one. Life can begin again and the ones we love live on forever.
